ATF’s “Zero Tolerance” Policy is Over!

The Biden administration introduced a horrible policy called “Zero Tolerance” that was detrimental to the firearms industry – specifically, FFLs.

Instead of being an agency that is intended to regulate and work with the firearm industry, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) became even more hostile to the industry and started treating even minor typos and errors and significant issues and they worked hard to shut down FFLs.

In fact, I represented a client that was a target of the ATF’s zero tolerance policy and ended up testifying in front of Congress about the ATF’s use of the Zero Tolerance policy to unfairly try to shut down my client. Thankfully, we won the fight and the ATF had to admit that they were finally wrong. However, for thousands of other FFLs across the country, they weren’t so lucky.
